Level Tower - Neuwieder Gin

The level tower gin was created with a lot of passion by Umut Eskiocak in cooperation with the distillery at Obsthof Birkenbeil. The young restaurateur, bartender and trained hotel manager dedicated his first gin as a tribute to his hometown of Neuwied. Among the botanicals, the fiery chili pepper, the sweet vanilla beans and the turmeric are particularly worth mentioning. Good quality London Dry Gin is distilled at Obsthof Birkenbeil. Neuwied's level tower, together with the silhouette of the Raiffeisen Bridge, is one of the city's landmarks. The level tower is used for the continuous measurement of the Rhine level. With the data obtained, flood pumping stations are automatically controlled and various control centers are supplied.
