Pineau des Charentes Extra Old

This extra old white Pineau reveals a topaz color with mahogany reflections.             The nose is rich, candied and exotic.  It opens with exotic notes of stewed pineapple and coconut complemented by touches of rancio, offering a warm, slightly spicy aspect revealing a varied and harmonious whole.             The palate is round, complex and elegant.  It opens with fruity notes of candied orange zest, coconut and pineapple supported by touches of slightly vanilla rancio testifying to aging in barrels.  The aromatic persistence is long and delicious, its style is refined, feminine and exotic, like an invitation to travel.
