Amaranth is often referred to as an Inca grain. It is found all over Central and South America. The organic amaranth is a round seed that belongs to the foxtail family and is therefore naturally gluten-free. It is one of the oldest cultivated plants. Due to its special protein composition, it is easy to achieve a high biological value when combined with cereals. The organic amaranth from Planet Nature can be ground well and used as a porridge for baking. Like millet, it is also suitable as a side dish.
