Sanitrade, FFP2, FFP2 masks made in France The FFP2 respiratory protection mask is intended to protect the wearer from the risks of inhalation of infectious agents through the air as well as those around them.
 This is category III Personal Protective Equipment. 
This high protection device was first used in the medical field but is now becoming more widely used in public life.
 Wearing an FFP2 mask is essential to protect caregivers during certain care procedures, during medical maneuvers considered risky on an infected patient or with suspicion of infection (Sars-Cov-2 virus, Flu for example).
 The FFP2 mask has filtration greater than 94% of aerosols and dust with an average size of 0.6 µm. 
Indeed, in terms of filtration efficiency, only 6% of solid and liquid particles are likely to pass through it, whereas a category 1 mask would allow almost 20% to pass through.
