 With this striking grain and its simple yet sophisticated hourglass-shaped shape, Manado embodies the perfect balance between naturalness and timeless design.   It fits harmoniously into any living space and at the same time sets a striking accent.    The piece of furniture is already equipped with sliding feet.   They ensure that your floor - be it parquet or tiles - is protected from scratches. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Mass weight: Diameter x height: 30x40 cm Weight: 13.75kg Our products are artfully crafted unique pieces.   Due to hand manufacturing and natural variations in materials, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Material: Trembesi (rain tree wood) Trembesi is also known as the rain tree and can be found widely scattered throughout Southeast Asia, where it often grows along roads or in parks.   Since the tree originally comes from South America, no rainforest has to be cut down to produce wood in Indonesia: The fast-growing tree is usually found in urban environments, where it was planted by humans for ornamentation.   In order to limit growth, the overgrown branches are regularly cut off and the wood is used to make furniture.   Our Trembesi comes from East Java.   The wood is relatively similar to teak in terms of color and structure, but has a significantly better sustainability record. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Place of production: This side table is handmade in Java, Indonesia When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions.   Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we purchase our goods.   No harmful chemicals are used during production.   Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process hardly produces any greenhouse gas emissions.   We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
