Attention: not a by-product of furniture production. Contains a particularly high concentration of resins and ingredients typical of Swiss stone pine. This is also ensured by the air drying of the wood and the planing with minimal heat development (through the effect of heat, some volatile ingredients would be partially lost and the range of ingredients and their concentration would be significantly reduced - this also applies to the oil distilled from cones and needles) Pine wood exudes a characteristic, light scent through its essential oils and resins. In the Alpine valleys, people have known about the good properties of these ingredients for centuries and there is now a lot of literature and reports on the Internet. Due to legal requirements, e.g. the Medicines Advertising Act, we refrain from making any health-related information. Use: You can lay these cushions open in the head area of your bed or add pillow fillings. Wood chips are generally not a good upholstery material - they are therefore only used for their phenomenal scent effect. Thanks to this special quality and careful processing, we have a long-lasting pine effect. If after some time the fragrance intensity decreases, plenty of good substances are still released, even if your concentration falls below the perception threshold of the comparatively coarse human sense of smell. For several years we had two qualities in parallel. The standard quality was scented chips that came from furniture production (chamber-dried wood with relatively few knots and resin galls). We were able to offer these significantly cheaper. However, all customers who had the intensive quality comparison always chose this one. Ultimately, we removed the standard quality from the range and concentrated entirely on the intensive quality.
