Inspired by the Etruscans that once lived in Populonia...a place to escape it all... Each Populonia ring is hand-forged, reticulated for texture, therefore unique. Inspired by the Etruscans and their Land, the Iron Age Collection focuses on strong textures, irregular shapes, blackened silver accents and unconventional stone settings. Each piece draws inspiration from symbolic natural elements of the Etruscan coast: iron stones, rocky cliffs, golden sandy beaches and hidden treasures left by the Etruscans. Strong sense of family and Heritage, liberal attitude to the role and rights of women, most certainly define the Etruscans, a civilization ahead of its time. CARING FOR STERLING SILVER Sterling silver jewellery, if not worn for long periods of time, may develop a patina, which can be easily removed with a silver polishing cloth, available in all diy stores. If you want to “do it yourself”, here's a way: ***wet the silver piece in water, apply a small amount of fluoride toothpaste on the silver. Rub the toothpaste into the silver slowly, keeping it wet. Rub it until the toothpaste turns into a greysh dark colour. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Wash away the toothpaste. The silver will show immediate improvement*** All my pieces are carefully handmade. Irregularities and imperfection are signs of authenticity.
