Scudo, are mix-metal stud earrings, part of the Sinking Gold Collection. The earrings are made with sterling silver wire and the spheres are made with recycled 9ct gold. The studs have a natural feel and they're perfect for everyday wear. All my pieces are carefully handmade. Irregularities and imperfection are signs of authenticity. CARING FOR STERLING SILVER Sterling silver jewellery, if not worn for long periods of time, may develop a patina, which can be easily removed with a silver polishing cloth, available in all diy stores. If you want to “do it yourself”, here's a way: ***wet the silver piece in water, apply a small amount of fluoride toothpaste on the silver. Rub the toothpaste into the silver slowly, keeping it wet. Rub it until the toothpaste turns into a greysh dark colour. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Wash away the toothpaste. The silver will show immediate improvement***
