Raw chindi organic kala cotton quilt, small

Handmade for Stitch by Stitch by master quilt makers in Gujarat, from handwoven organic kala cotton fabrics, with carefully placed patchwork which is kantha stitched with tiny, close rows of stitches by hand. The raw edges of the patchwork fabrics are left exposed on the upper face of the quilt to create an imperfect, “wabi-sabi” look, inspired by Japanese boro fabrics. No two quilts are the same.
