Raw chindi patchwork kantha cushion

Handmade in Gujarat from handwoven organic kala cotton fabrics, with carefully placed patchwork and kantha stitched with tiny, close rows of stitches by hand by master quilt makers. The raw edges of the patchwork fabrics are left exposed on the upper face of the cushion and around the edges, to create an imperfect, “wabi-sabi” look, inspired by Japanese boro fabrics.
