Our collection of TAJMILT posters is inspired by great Amazigh figures. Poets, writers, musicians, singers, we have selected 4 men and 4 women who have marked our history. Matoub Lounès, born in 1956 in Ath Douala and died in 1998 in Thala Bounane, is a singer, musician, author, composer, performer and poet. A great activist for the Amazigh identity cause in Algeria, he fought through his texts for democracy and secularism in Algeria but also for the claim of Amazigh culture. He is recognized as the spokesperson for the Berber cause and is undeniably one of the greatest Berber figures.
