Osmanthus Flower Tea - 50 g

Osmanthus Fragrans or Sweet Olive is an evergreen shrub with beautiful foliage and clusters of very fragrant small flowers. 

In China, this tea is particularly appreciated not only for its taste but also for the beauty of its leaves.   Osmanthus flower tea is a Chinese specialty, prized for its delicate aroma and delicious taste of fragrant flowers. 

The delicate flowers have a fruity taste reminiscent of sweet summer apricots.   Place of Origin: Guanxi, China.   Infusing method: We highly recommend infusing this tea in the traditional Chinese method (Gong Fu Cha) with a Gaiwan using 95°C boiling water. 

The proportion of tea leaves to water: 5g per 100ml and 20sec. 

Instead, for a classic Western-style preparation we recommend 5 grams of leaves (about 2 teaspoons) in 500 ml with water at 85°C for an infusion time of 3-8 minutes according to personal tastes.
