128 - Osmanthus Olong

In the green hills of Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, is the Santikiri Plantation, which means "peaceful hill" in Thai. Tea plants grow alongside osmanthus shrubs which spread their scent of ripe apricots, sweet jasmine and leather in the air. Nicknamed "the four-league scent plant", osmanthus produces flowers that are used in the final stage of the oxidation process. Vegetal and honeyed notes follow aromas of ripe yellow fruits and a touch of fresh mint, creating a delicately scented tea, easy to enjoy and full of promises from the East.
