Two years ago we began dreaming up a shoe that reminded me of a all around shoe I had from a few years ago. It turns out, there is a world where a sneakerhead could travel with a single pair of sneakers. Those sneakers could be multi-use, because of the silhouette, and therefore their ability to dress up or dress down any fit. But in The Rad Black Kids version, we chose to make that shoe also trail ready. Fitted with a Vibram®. The shoe had to be an explicit invite to get people to go outside. The Nyanga Hiker was named after a mountain in Zimbabwe. The inaugural color way echoes the green that gives Mount Nyangani its characteristic hue.
