In her debut poetry collection, Lauren J Barton writes a collection of poems and spoken word that she has accumulated over the years and until now has kept hidden. Split into three sections, she takes you on a journey that we perhaps all find ourselves on at some point in life - from muddy waters, through a tragic poignant loss that changed everything, to finding peace and self love from within.<br>From her changed perspective on life, through her writings, she hopes to inspire, unite and comfort others.I would like to say the biggest thankyou to Chloe for helping me complete this book and finally getting it out into the world!&I first met Chloe years ago way back in Dance college - The Urdang Academy in 2012. I was in absolute awe of her talent and stage presence! I could spot straight away she was a powerful force with the the biggest heart and passion for life, destined for greatness.&;Knowing her from all those years ago only makes our re connection years later all the more poignant and special, the world works in mysterious way hey! 🥰When covid hit, I was watching the ripple effects of Chloe and her friends up in Scotland take to cold water dips and ice cold plunges via social media. I was struggling mentally at the time and wanted to set myself a challenge so I joined in! The effects were incredible! And the support from Chloe and everyone else in the virtual group were unmatched!&It is absolutely no surprise to me to see how well Soul Hub is doing and the huge impact it is making in peoples lives.&;I went on to have a few personal 1-1 sessions with Chloe that summer, at that point I had completed most of the book but found myself stuck on a few vital pieces to piece it all together, and without a shadow of a doubt it was the encouragement and support from Chloe within those sessions that gave me my drive and focus back to complete what is now my first Poetry and illustration book, Grá Mór.&;This book was absolutely never in my plans,&(if you had asked me years ago if I was to put a book of poems and drawings together I would have laughed! ) - maybe take this bit out if too long.&;I can honestly say with a profound sense of knowing that this book was divinely created and orchestrated by my Angel sister Mollie,&I was merely just the Vessel for it to flow through.
