ORGANIC Dried Figs

The fig tree grows in many Mediterranean countries, but the best figs are harvested in Turkey, around Izmir. Turkish figs are differentiated by their method of preparation. Each name (Lérida, Protoben and Baglama) therefore does not refer to a variety of fig, but to their presentation during packaging. They are rich in fiber and a source of magnesium, iron and calcium. By their glucose content, figs provide you with energy and stimulate digestion.
