TOOitaly was born in 2011 from an idea by Alessia Stendardo and Giovanna Gentili: to create handcrafted bags, 100% vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable, for those who want an ethical accessory without sacrificing style.
From the very beginning, we chose to work with innovative and circular materials, such as recycled bolted PVC, APPLESKYN (a bio-leather derived from apple waste) and cordura handles obtained from PET bottles.
Each bag is handmade in our workshops in Orvieto, combining contemporary design and artisanal care. Our approach is inspired by upcycling and the philosophy of “nothing is wasted”: we transform forgotten materials into unique pieces.
We have participated in events such as AltaRoma and the Italian Fashion Week in Texas, and represented Italy at the G7 Craftswomen Summit in Tokyo.
Today TOOitaly is recognized with the highest level of the Animal Free VVV+ ethical rating by LAV. An independent, feminine and Made in Italy brand that combines creativity, innovation and respect for the planet.
