Colin - The Biochemist from California, Simon - The Entrepreneur from Knivsta and Per-Johan - The Engineer from Halmstad decide that the train station will be the seat of a new beer brand that will revolutionize the folk beer market.
Simply by making a tasty, exclusive folk beer.
After a long process of working out recipes and importing rare ingredients from, among others, New Zealand and the USA, the first product will be on the market. The Hoppy One, the world's first India Pale Folk Ale, which will be launched in the autumn of 2012 in Swedish grocery stores.
A year later and beyond all expectations, with nice statements from Gambrinus ölsällskap, the magazines Allt om Mat and Gourmet, Train Station Brewery is represented all over Sweden at Ica, Coop, Hemköp, City Gross, among others, which has brought in the folk beer that sells very well.
Shortly after the success of the folk beer, stronger beers were produced which began to be sold at Systembolaget and then exported to both Norway and Finland.
Today, Train Station Brewery is known as the brewery that recently took home Gold in the category "Best Swedish Bottled Beer Regardless of category" at the Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival. Our unfiltered stock has also been named Sweden's Best Stock no less than 4 times in various independent blind tests. Plus gold for best international stock at Helsinki Beer & Whiskey festival… The list of awards and fine grades can be made long!
