The Brewing Brothers Tolosa Triple Blonde Beer

The Tolosa Triple Blonde is an intense, voluptuous and particularly gourmet beer. Traditionally brewed in abbeys by monks, so-called Triple (or Tripel) beers took their name from the marking that was made on the barrels to differentiate them from other beers, Enkle (Single) and Dubbel (Double). Indeed, during the brewing, the first grind, very heavy in sugar and therefore in alcohol, was reserved for prestigious guests. The second, from a second brew of the malt, was a little lighter, followed by the third moult which produced an even lighter, table beer. At Les Frères Brasseurs, they brew in the traditional way, so it is a prestigious beer, denser, rounder and more alcoholic (8.5% alcohol vol).
