VINTAGES 2016 Description The Clos de Vougeot grand cru from Domaine Christian Confuron is a wine for laying down that favors aromatic power over excessive extraction. It takes advantage of the freshness of an unstemmed harvest. The tannins of this Burgundy grand cru are silky, although they come from a classic vinification. The Clos de Vougeot cuvée from Christian Confuron is fierce, it is after a few turns of the glass that we will begin to appreciate its nose. Gradually the wine delivers scents of precious woods (sandalwood, cedar). In addition to this sappy side, it reveals jammy aromas of blackcurrant and prune. The texture is very fluid and the tannins civilized. It is quite simply a meditation wine that leaves a delicious minty sensation in the mouth.
