Wanderer Provence Gin

My Wanderer Provence Gin pays homage to the south of France. I distil a dozen fine Mediterranean ingredients lovingly by hand into an aromatic reminder of a carefree time in the Mediterranean. The lovely lavender scent of my Provencal gin makes you dream of the blue-violet blooming fields on the Valensole plateau. Then there is a stimulating freshness of lime and lemon verbena on the palate. The herbs fresh from the market, such as thyme and rosemary, as well as the Mediterranean juniper characterize the enjoyable finale with a tart and spicy finish. In 2011 I traveled to Provence for the first time with my current wife. The south of France has a firm place in my heart, and not just because of love. The beautiful landscape, which has inspired many artists, and the hospitality of the people are simply unforgettable. For my gin, I use the best ingredients that are characteristic of Provence and its cuisine from the south of France. In my small distillery near Cologne I process these according to the traditional distillery craft, but also use modern and unconventional methods to gently transfer even the most volatile and finest aromas into the gin. I recommend the Wanderer Provence Gin pure as a digestif, classic as a Gin & Tonic (1 part Wanderer Provence Gin to 2-3 parts Mediterranean Tonic Water) and in various cocktails, such as a Gin Basil Smash.
