Riesling from the red slate 2021

The vines grow in vineyards with red slate soil.  The weathered Hunsrück slate receives its characteristic coloring due to iron deposits.  The Riesling from red slate has ripe peach and citrus fruit in its scent.   Spicy and juicy notes with subtle sweetness and a strong structure with ripe acidity.  The delicately spicy slate note is particularly characteristic.
