Green Hans

The hop harvest is once a year. Once a year we pluck each hop cone for our Grüner Hans special brew by hand. And once a year, these cones are brewed into our fresh hop ale immediately after the harvest. Real manual work. The Green Hans is an ale brewed with an old hop variety that was used in many Hamburg beers back in the days of the Hanseatic League. This green Hanseatic hop is grown in Bargteheide by our friends from Brauder, with whom we brewed the hoppy, fresh beer. Unpasteurized and unfiltered. Ingredients: Water, barley malt*, hops (Hanseatic hops, Cascade, Fuggles, Northern Brewer), yeast *from controlled ecological cultivation
