Orange Blossom Water - 25cl - Distillate - Winter pastries

Resulting from the pure distillation of bitter orange blossoms (or Seville orange blossom), this orange blossom water is the precious fruit of artisanal and authentic manufacturing promoting local know-how. É Coming from the orange groves of rural producers, the flower buds are then sublimated by a women's cooperative located in the Bekaa.  Immersed in boiling water, the petals release an aromatic vapor which is then condensed to produce exceptional, delicate and intensely scented water.             It is said that this floral nectar conquered the heart of Emperor Napoleon who delighted in “white coffee”, a beverage mixing hot water, sugar and a few drops of orange blossom water.  In Lebanese gastronomy, the very popular floral water “Ma Zaher” is used in the composition of many oriental pastries, but also in milk puddings, fruit salads and hot or cold drinks.  For the more adventurous, you can also add it to a tagine or a grated carrot salad.   For Easter or Christmas festivities, this distillate is essential in brioches!
