Single Malt Whiskey - Airem Blue Edition

On the nose it opens with notes of dried fruits, Christmas cake and cinnamon. Very sherry-like, the sweet and spicy spiciness of the Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso also bring out some interesting flavours. There is an earthy richness to the aromas. In the mouth it is equally rich. More PX notes appear, mixed with ginger, oak and sweet red wine. Vanilla and honey add a lovely sweetness and give the spicy notes a nice touch. Dried fruits, including raisins, also appear. The finish is bold and lingers on dried raisins and apricots.  Airem Blue is a 100% pure malt whisky made in Spain. This whisky has matured in casks that held sherry wines for 20 years (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) and has aged for a period of 6 to 13 years.
