I design all my products by hand with paint, which gives them a unique quality in the depth of color and design. I really enjoy this process and hope that the person who receives my designs has the same joy.
Since I live in a foreign country and face daily difficulties in speaking proper German, I find symbols an incredible way to communicate. As designers, the unwritten language forces us to get to the essence of what we want to convey, and I love that challenge. That's why you won't find any written messages on my stationery, just symbols and numbers.
All my products are carefully printed CO2-neutral and I use high-quality recycled and mix-certified paper. For some processes, such as bookbinding, I work with USE gGmbH, an organization that offers employment opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged people in Berlin.
