Ben A

Ben A is a sweet sparkling blackcurrant wine. Ben A is made from hand-sorted Danish blackcurrants of the variety Ben Alder. The Danish blackcurrants have optimal conditions in the Nordic climate, where the temperature differences between the cool nights and the long bright days give a long ripening time, which develops fantastic aroma and a completely unique acid profile. The blackcurrants are mashed and fermented at low temperature together with the skins to give the flavorful wine. Before the blackcurrant wine is fermented a second time in a bottle, it is blended with our apple wine to create the perfect balance between aroma and acidity. Before the wine is disgorged, it has been bottled for a minimum of 9 months. Finally, dosage is added, which makes Ben A a sparkling dessert wine. Ben A is served cold for desserts such as chocolate cake, ice cream, wreath cake, risalamande, confectionery and cheese. Ben A can be served instead of Kir Royal.
