Clean air and natural streams nourish the mountain slopes on which Rooibos is grown. The asphaltatus linearis is a small shrub whose branches are dried in the sun and then cut into small pieces. A high quality rooibos can be identified by its ruby color and the natural sweetness that makes up its characteristic taste. This fragrant creation is ideal in hot tea as well as iced tea.
