Balcones Texas Bourbon

Nose: Apples coated in honey are accompanied by buttered corn and toasted oak. Taste: Full-bodied and sweet on the tongue. Starts with sweet cream, caramel, honey and candied pecans, followed by notes of leather and sandalwood. Finish: Long-lasting with remaining spice and fine vanilla. Colour: terracotta (M8). Made on the basis of Blue Corn, the Balcones Pot Still Bourbon 92 Proof was created on the occasion of the inauguration of the imported Forsyths pot still. A four-grain mash based on blue corn with the addition of wheat, rye and barley malt was used for the Pot Still Bourbon. Aging in American white oak casks for about 2 years resulted in a bourbon with flavors of buttered corn, toasted oak and honey. The taste shows sweet notes of cream, caramel and candied pecans, which are accompanied by leather and sandalwood. The Balcones Pot Still Bourbon 92 Proof is bottled with 46.0% vol.
