The Five Petals, AOP Faugères, vintage 2023

“Les Cinq Pétales”, in AOP Faugères, is the estate's rosé wine. Its name comes from its plot, surrounded by woods, but above all, surrounded by a multitude of spring flowers having in common to have 5 petals, La Petite Centaurée, la Campanule, Nigella de Damascus ... A terroir of blue schists, deep and endearing. The blend is made up of elegant Grenache, the complexity of Mourvèdre and the power of Syrah. The color is luminous and pale and the olfactory palette is very aromatic, with a lovely sweetness of citrus notes such as pomelo, kumquat and agastache.
