WHO IS BRUGEM?
The Breugem story started in 2009 by master brewer Patrick Breugem. Brewer from the very beginning. Brewing since 2004 at De Prael, De Molen, Het Veulen & De Zeven Deugden, among others.
The foundation of our brand comes from Patrick's positive attitude to life. Years ago, Patrick had a serious accident and was in a coma for several weeks. But he fought back and went on to do what really made him happy: brew beer.
A 'side effect' of the accident is that Patrick goes through life straight and unfiltered. He approaches everyone with the same openness and is a true connector. Instead of labeling him as a 'man with a tame', we embrace his positive outlook and have made it his strength. The Breugem brand is built on that open attitude to life.
