Organic maple syrup 10L (BIB)

The bag in box of organic maple syrup is the most economical format, an amber colored syrup, rich taste goes well with many desserts and sweet preparations.  It is a real sugar in its own right, a natural complete sugar, the sugar of the forest.   Its unique flavor will satisfy young and old alike!   ORGANIC AMBER MAPLE SYRUP (GRADE B IN THE OLD CLASSIFICATION) FERME VIFRANC AOC “MONTAGNE DE L’ISLET” The maple grove managed by La Ferme Vifranc inc.  is subject to gentle management, without felling or intensive pruning, and the maples coexist with other tree species, for a harmonious and balanced forest, certified organic.   Organic maple syrup is produced in mid-March and late April.  Ferme Vifranc's demand for quality is reflected in this exceptional syrup, through particularly demanding methods of working the maple grove and producing maple syrup: - Two varieties of maple are used to obtain this syrup, sugar maple and plane maple. -As soon as the sap is collected, it is stored in stainless steel basins to mature for 24 hours.   This start of lactofermentation has the particularity of accentuating the aromatics, particularly the specific maple, creamy and vanilla aromas which give a specific touch to good maple syrup. -The evaporation of the "maple water" is carried out initially with a double inverted osmosis system which allows the recovery of a pre-syrup which will be heated on a plate for around ten minutes in order to obtain a maple syrup. at 66.5% sugar level.   It goes ideally with pancakes and French toast, in yogurt or fromage blanc, and with all kinds of fruit or savory-sweet recipes.  Bio-Monde has been the historic partner of La Ferme Vifranc for 30 years.   Store in a cool place after opening.  The different grades are expressed based on light transmission.  Grade A amber is between 50 and 74.9% light transmission.
