Cultivated between 1000 and 1200 meters above sea level on the Santa Quitéria farm, located in Cambuquira in the Serra de Mantiqueira region. Arthur Queiroz de Souza cultivates different varieties there such as Bourbon Amarelo, Catuai and Acaia. After harvesting, the natural (unwashed) grains are dried by the sun for around twenty days.
