
Green Tea Pure is our classic expression of green tea. A blend of carefully selected quality Chinese teas. It offers the perfect balance between cleansing dry herb notes and relaxing toasted flavors. To create this blend, our tea masters source premium green teas from the Chinese provinces of Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang. Known as the Golden Triangle, this area is renowned for the quality of its teas. Our Tea Masters include high quality Chun Mee in the blend, both the silver tips and the leaf residues. This tea is harvested in early spring, when it has a more delicate and sweet flavor. Chun Mee translates as precious eyebrow, a name inspired by the curled appearance of dried tea leaves. With a slightly nuttier taste than many green teas, it brings a nice rounded character to this blend. Infuse a sachet of our Green Tea Pure in hot water, and enjoy its taste and aroma, almost like a bouquet of freshly picked flowers. We recommend brewing tea bags in hot water at around 80-85°C, to preserve the natural goodness of the tea without extracting the bitterness. Enjoy this tea as a morning pick-me-up, a mid-morning pick-me-up, or a lunchtime refresher. Green tea has a calming and purifying effect that enlivens the senses and refreshes the palate, so it is especially good after food. In warmer weather, you can also serve our iced green tea for a light and refreshing drink. Simply infuse the tea bag and dilute it with iced water, perhaps with a slice of lemon to bring out the fresh flavours.
