It seems hard to imagine that polenta was once considered a poor man's dish. 

A basic dish from the mountain pastures and one which had to make good use of the few rare ingredients at its disposal. 

The polenta was shared with what was available: cheese, a tomato and sometimes a piece of meat... 

A hot dish, which served to warm the body and mind. 

At Casa Di Cecco, we want to bring you a little of this family warmth, but with a decidedly less poor sauce, to be enjoyed in winter in front of the fireplace or even in summer... 

For this goodness there is no season.    The delight of a mountain dish and the majestic taste of truffle, in white version. May contain traces of milk and gluten
