CERVEZAS ALTHAIA

Cervezas Althaia was born in Marina Baixa, in the heart of the Mediterranean. All our production is carried out entirely in the picturesque town of Altea, where each step of the process is carried out with dedication and passion. The name "Althaia" comes from the ancient name of Altea, a Greek word that means “I heal” or “I heal”, reflecting the two pillars of our project: the production of ethical and 100% natural beers, and our connection with the Mediterranean lifestyle. 
 
Our story is also a beautiful love story. When Mayte arrived in Alicante to continue her career in the world of wine, she met Jorge. While tasting the beers that Jorge made, he confessed his dream of devoting himself to his true passion: making beer. Both, passionate about making, decided to take this path together. 
 
We celebrate 10 years of experience, being the most awarded brewery in the Spanish Levant, with more than 40 recognitions, 30 of them international medals. Our catalog includes various lines, from the Essentials such as the Mediterranean Lager, Mediterranean Märzen without gluten, the Mediterranean IPA and the Mediterranean IPA Without Alcohol, to the daring Illustrated, with beautiful illustrations in collaboration with a local artist, and the Inimitables.
