Terres de Berne - Red Wine - AOP Côtes de Provence

The meeting between Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, a fresh and expressive wine Aging in oak barrels providing structure and finesse The ideal companion for refined cuisine with southern accents Terres de Berne is the elegant vintage that best reflects these high limestone terroirs of the Var. 

Priority to fruity expression and freshness on the palate. 

A harvest in the early mornings of October with sorting of the grapes allows maceration to begin in vats and cold, then fermentations are carried out between 18 and 28°C, with frequent small pumping overs, replaced by one or two partial unloadings. 

Prolonged vatting over 5 weeks allows the coating of the firmer structure of the Cabernets to begin. Élong aging in vats and partly in barrels, on fine lees. 

Wine filtered upon release then rested for a few months before marketing. Grape varieties: Syrah, Cabernet-Sauvignon Color: Deep red color, garnet reflections Nose: Nose of black fruits (blackcurrant) with spicy notes (pepper, liquorice) enhanced with a hint of menthol. Mouth: Soft, round attack, persistent fruity aromas. 

Fruity finish and touch of liquorice. Food and wine pairings: Ideal as an aperitif, Terres de Berne red also goes well with southern cuisine (olives, tomatoes, garlic) and will pleasantly surprise with flavors from elsewhere, from Asia in particular. 

Delicate exotic flavors resonate with the subtle fruity notes of the wine.
