BENEFITS Activated Carbon Known since Antiquity, activated carbon can be produced from any organic plant material rich in carbon.   Its porous structure gives it an extraordinary adsorption capacity which gives it very interesting purifying and detoxifying properties.   2.

SKIN TYPE & CONCERNS Applicable to all skin types, this cold saponified soap is highly recommended for combination or oily skin.

Specially formulated to meet the needs of these skin types, this soap with Vegetable Charcoal and Sesame oil will help to nourish and hydrate them while gently exfoliating to free the skin pores.   Oily skin can be identified by enlarged pores, shiny skin, irregular texture and an accumulation of sebum in the pores which promotes imperfections.

Blemishes such as blackheads and pimples are also more common among people with this skin type.   3.

COMPOSITION & BENEFITS - Shea Butter: Rich in fatty acids such as oleic acid (Omega-9) and stearic acid, Shea butter is ideal for deeply nourishing, repairing the skin and ensuring its hydration.

It contains resinous esters which are healing and anti-inflammatory phenolic acids.

It is rich in vitamin E which plays a protective antioxidant role and thus prevents the skin from aging. -Copra Oil: Copra oil is a recognized oil in skin care due to its unique properties.

Rich in lauric acid, it adds foam and creaminess to soaps thanks to its excellent foaming power for gentle cleaning.

In addition, its stability to oxidation prevents it from going rancid easily, making it ideal for long-lasting conservation. -Sesame Oil: Rich in fatty acids such as linoleic acid (Omega-6), lecithin and sesamolin, Sesame oil nourishes and maintains skin hydration.

It also contains vitamins E and A which prevent skin aging and regenerate skin cells. ÉAs it is non-comedogenic, it regulates sebum production. -Plant Activated Carbon Powder: A powder composed almost entirely of pure carbon, plant activated carbon powder is capable of capturing (adsorption) a significant quantity of substances, which gives it purifying and detoxifying properties.

It adheres effectively to pores to absorb toxins and impurities. -Atlas Cedar essential oil: Concentrated in sesquiterpene ketones, sesquiterpene carbides and atlantones, Atlas Cedar essential oil has lipolytic properties.

It helps break down fatty substances.

It also improves blood circulation and regenerates connective tissues.   91.4% of the total ingredients are of natural origin 69.4% of the total ingredients come from organic farming * 70.3% of the total ingredients are active ingredients *according to nouvellecosmetique.org Non-plant ingredients such as water and ingredients of mineral origin are considered natural, but cannot claim the label “from organic farming” because they are not cultivated.   4.

COLD SAPONIFICATION & BENEFITS Cold saponification is an ancestral manufacturing process that uses neither industrial base (bondillons) nor machines.

We proceed manually starting from the basic elements: top quality organic vegetable oils (Shea butter and Copra oil), water and soda.

Once the cold saponification is completed, there is no more soda at all, but real soap, natural glycerin (around 5%) and a superfat.

In this soap, the superfat is composed of Sesame oil with many benefits.

This soap owes its black color to charcoal powder.

During the cold saponification process, this organic matter is added to the soap paste at the end of the process.

Vegetable charcoal is chosen for its absorbent and purifying powers.

It allows gentle exfoliation and unclogs clogged pores.

Our activated carbon is supplied by our neighbor, the international company Jacobi Carbons, which is 15 km from the Codina Vieux Domaine factory.

At the end of the saponification, we also add Atlas Cedar essential oil with astringent properties to cleanse the skin, tighten pores, dry out imperfections while evening out the complexion.

At Codina Vieux Domaine, solid soap is manufactured and packaged after drying exclusively by hand.

The raw materials used are noble, recognized and traced.   7.

A SOAP THAT DOES NOT DRY SKIN Unlike industrial soaps, natural soap made by cold saponification does not dry out the skin and we will explain why!

The glycerin produced naturally during cold saponification is preserved in the soap.

This ingredient in its natural form is a humectant compound, that is to say it retains water, and an emollient agent, that is to say softens the skin.

The oil added as superfat will also form a lipid film to maintain hydration and protect the skin.

The synergy of these properties makes soap an ally for gentle, protective and restorative cleaning.
