Our Saffron was picked by our hands on our estate.   It comes from clean and environmentally friendly agriculture.                                                                            To express itself, saffron needs time.                                                                            The ideal is to infuse it for 4 to 5 hours in cream, milk, wine, water, etc. before incorporating it, for example, into a sauce or custard.  "Beyond 48 hours of rehydration, there is no longer any benefit for this incomparable flavor enhancer." In order not to lose any of the powers of this spice, you will need to keep the brittle filaments in an airtight jar, away from light and consume it within 3 years.                                                                            Allow 2 or 3 stigmas per person for savory dishes, and 2 for sweet dishes.
