Pitted black cherries: these preserves are prepared from fresh, ripe and healthy fruit, washed and trimmed. All those with defects are eliminated. After stemming and pitting, these fruits are housed in airtight boxes with a top quality sugar syrup. They are therefore whole fruits as described above. • Number: 18 fruits (+ or -5) per 100 g net drained. • Colour: dark red tending towards black. • Stone tolerance: 5 per 100 fruits. This is an average tolerance and not a maximum. • Hold: firm. Syrup: This is a mixture of food grade water and premium sugars. The syrup completely covers the fruit. Nut. values/100g: Val.
