The Original - IGP Mediterranean - 2020, 75cl

The cuvée L'Originelle is a unique blend of Ugni Blanc and Grenache Noir. First of all, old vines of Ugni blanc: over 50 years old, this vine benefits from an east-west orientation on predominantly clay-limestone soil with a small sandy part on a slight slope. For the Grenaches, it's a more complicated, stony plot with good ripeness to boot for a vine that is over 25 years old. The 2020 vintage is characterized by excellent climatic conditions. A dry spring at the beginning with late frosts fortunately without impact on our vines, then nice rains until mid June. The summer was very dry. The maturities were released in mid-September thanks to some rain. A really very light pink dress. A complex, gourmet nose of small red fruits. It is a gastronomy Rosé, very elegant with a real freshness, very dry: a good length in the mouth.
