Production Region: Veneto, Valpolicella – Province of Verona Denomination: Amarone della Valpolicella D.O.C.G. Year: 2018 Grape variety: 50% Corvina Veronese, 15% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 5% Oseleta Training system: Espalier training with Guyot pruning, with a density of 4,500 plants per hectare. It seduces the eye with its deep, intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is enveloping, broad and intense where spicy notes of cocoa, coffee and leather blend with fruity notes of black cherry and blueberry jam. Red with great structure, compact in the mouth, it is enveloping and balanced, warm and soft with persuasive and harmonic tannins, it releases caressing notes of endless persistence. Ideal to accompany winter and spicy dishes such as game or braised meats but also with long-aged cheeses. It also goes well with spicy oriental dishes. Amarone is also an excellent wine for conversation or meditation, serve decanted at least an hour before. Vinification: The grapes are dried for 4 months before pressing. Once pressed, the wine is left to age for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Aging time in the bottle: 6 months minimum Bottle format: 750ml Alcohol: 15% vol. Contains sulfites Metal Label
