A little gray mouse decides to play a prank on his friend the bird, telling him that he has seen a blue wolf. Then the two scare the squirrel and later the three the turtle. Until, suddenly, a wolf appears... blue! Is it a joke too? Young children love the books of Éric Battut, creator of this endearing little mouse who has already starred in other stories such as "The Secret", "The Hazelnut" or the most recent, "Oh! The moon" and "Do you want to play with me?" Battut uses the formula of the cumulative tale –which so captivates children–, in which the characters who, in this case, have fun with the joke of the blue wolf are added. When the blue wolf appears, everyone jumps out of fear. The wolf then takes off his disguise and we discover that he is actually a gray wolf. The tale begins again when the wolf, in turn, cries out that he has seen a little green mouse. Simplicity, tenderness and humor are the keys to this illustrated album that little ones will want to listen to, read and look at again and again. And this is not a joke!
