Children's Book: The Joke

A little gray mouse decides to play a prank on his friend the bird, telling him that he has seen a blue wolf. Then the two scare the squirrel and later the three the turtle. Until, suddenly, a wolf appears... blue! Is it a joke too? Battut uses the formula of the cumulative tale –which so captivates children–, in which the characters who, in this case, have fun with the joke of the blue wolf are added. When the blue wolf appears, everyone jumps out of fear. The wolf then takes off his disguise and we discover that he is actually a gray wolf. The tale begins again when the wolf, in turn, cries out that he has seen a little green mouse.
