Juniper berries with their flavor both slightly peppery and tangy, with hints of resin, traditionally enhance sauerkraut, marinades and broths, they also go perfectly with game, marinated fish and terrines. They are also the main ingredient in many cocktails, liqueurs or brandy. For a simmered cooking, add whole berries at the start of cooking, for a marinade add a few crushed berries.
