Caciocavallo Dolce del Monteporo is a typical stretched curd cow's milk cheese. Aromatic and pleasant, generally delicate and sweet, caciocavallo is a matured stretched curd cheese made with milk from the pastures of Monte Poro. For the production of Caciocavallo, the milk, collected in the pastures of the Monte Poro area, is pasteurized at a temperature of 70°C, and ferments and liquid rennet are added. To best appreciate the qualities of the product, we recommend storing it wrapped in food paper and consuming it at a temperature of around 20°C. Available in a size of approximately 800 GR.
