No joke: "Spicy 10+" will bring tears to your eyes - even if you already boldly sprinkle normal chilli powder into your food. We can do this without chemicals or tricks with a single ingredient: Trinidad Scorpion Chili. The small, round red pods that grow on the Caribbean island of the same name are dried and grated in our spice jars. With a spiciness score of around 1.3 million Scoville, this type of chilli reaches a level of 10+ on a scale ranging from 1 to 10. The decisive factor is their high capsaicin content. For comparison: hot peppers rank in the lower heat range with around 1,000 Scoville (1), cayenne pepper with around 50,000 Scoville in the medium heat range (6). “Spicy 10+” is suitable for all dishes that should be “hot”. Therefore our advice: Enjoy the sharpness of "Spicy 10+", but please use very reduced and careful doses - this way the contents of a can last for a very long time. Make sure that children do not come into contact with the spice. Put it in the closet so that it is safely stored. Avoid letting the spice touch your skin (use mini-measuring spoons or disposable gloves) and never rub your eyes during or after seasoning. Even if you love it ultimate spicy, use it at your own risk. Extra tip: Have an extinguishing agent ready that can buffer the sharpness a little if necessary. Natural yoghurt or milk with a full fat content (3.5%) are well suited, for example.
