Organic coconut blossom sugar in a glass jar 120 ml

Obtained from the nectar of the flowers of Java coconut trees, coconut blossom sugar is the new star among low-glycemic sweeteners. With its finely caramelized flavor, it is an excellent alternative to traditional sugar. The main source of coconut flower production is the island of Java, one of the largest islands in the Indonesian archipelago, where around 10,000 small producers specialize in sugar production. Our coconut blossom sugar comes from organically grown coconut trees and is produced by hand by small producers on the island of Java. The stems of the coconut flowers are cut and their juice is collected twice a day. About one liter of juice is obtained per day per palm tree. The juice is then sieved and cooked over an open fire for several hours. It is stirred until it becomes a thick syrup. It is then caramelized and crystallized by grinding it by hand while it cools. The sugar is produced in an artisanal way, which allows its many nutrients to be preserved.
