Organic Coconut Blossom Sugar

The organic coconut blossom sugar we offer is extracted from the sap of the coconut tree blossom, picked by hand in an artisanal way. This sap is heated and then crystallized to obtain an unrefined sugar. Unlike classic white sugar, this sugar preserves many natural nutrients essential to our body, such as iron, zinc and potassium. It is also rich in antioxidants that protect our cells. Organic coconut blossom sugar is also distinguished by its low glycemic index, between 24.5 and 35. This means that it does not cause a spike in blood sugar levels, unlike classic white sugar which has a glycemic index high, close to 70. This sugar has a delicious caramel note and can be used like brown sugar to sweeten your drinks such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate.
