
Organic turmeric has a fine, musky aroma with a delicate scent of ginger and orange. Bright yellow turmeric gives every dish an incomparable note with its particularly intense color and spicy aroma. It is a central ingredient in Indian curries and pairs well with lentil, bean and vegetable dishes. When harvesting our organic turmeric, the rhizome of the plant is carefully pulled out and the small yellow-orange roots are broken, boiled, and peeled by hand then dried for 15 days. Only in this way can we achieve that intense taste and bright yellow colour. Thanks to its antioxidant effect, turmeric is also used as a natural remedy: it is anti-inflammatory, cleansing and even acts as a cancer inhibitor. Our turmeric is very rich in curcumin with a concentration of 10%.
