I introduce myself, my name is Roma, I am a fashion enthusiast and an art lover. Sculpture, painting, drawing, architecture, in general all the visual arts have always inspired me and some have even given me the desire to practice them.
In 2021, after many years of questioning myself, a desire to undertake and create stronger than before begins to mature in me. So I threw myself headlong into an activity where, professionally speaking, I knew neither the cogs nor the codes.
I watch videos, I open books, I am interested and inspired by various subjects touching directly or indirectly on this artistic branch and finally, I launch myself without any graphic or even artistic notion in the creation of my very first design.
I download several computer-assisted drawing software and work day and night on a project without a specific goal. The first design finished, I muster up my courage, I show it to a friend (BAKB also attracted by fashion) and tell him about my project. Surprised to see that I am embarking on this ambitious activity, he decides and gives me an honest opinion. “Roma is so stylish, I want one!”
This sentence was revealing. It marked the beginning of this adventure where every day I think about and create Golden Square.
Today I make the designs in my workshop near Bordeaux. I make all the prints in artisanal screen printing in this same workshop and work in close collaboration with various craftsmen, photographers and creators.
Overcoming failure, creating, surpassing oneself and believing in one's dreams are the four fundamental points that resonate under the name of Golden Square.
